XmlEscape Functoid

Description: The XmlEscape Functoid converts all XML characters (such as < and >) to an HTML friendly format. Inputs with their allowed values:

• Param
  • Literal Text entered manually
  • Output of another Functoid
  • Value of a Table

Example:

• Param
  • <firstname aka="Thom">Thomas</firstname>
  • <record>
• Output
  • &lt;firstname aka=&quot;Thom&quot;&gt;Thomas&lt;/firstname&gt;
  • &lt;record&gt;
